Introduction to Weaving

In this class you’ll learn everything you need to get started with a Rigid Heddle loom, such as the Ashford SampleIt loom.

Learn about:

  • yarn types and weights suitable for weaving,
  • heddle sizes, and how to select the correct one for your project,
  • how to direct warp a loom.

The project you’ll be completing is a plain weave scarf or table runner.

All materials are provided, and use of a class loom is available if you do not have your own.

*This class has discounts. If you buy a rigid heddle loom from Made Marion Craft, we will discount the class fee. If you decide to buy a loom after the class, we’ll discount the loom price.

If you would like to attend this class, please email Made Marion Craft, including your name and phone number, and the date of the class. Click here to email Made Marion Craft.
