Pick Your Own Project – Sewing
Tuesday evenings 3, 10, 17, 24 May, 6 – 8:30pm (four sessions)
Cost: $140
Pick Your Own Project is an opportunity for you to work on a project that doesn’t fit into another class with help and support from an experienced teacher.
Students select their own pattern, and work through the more complicated issues in class, from pattern alteration, to fitting, to advanced construction techniques, and fine finishes.
Class sizes are limited, giving each student plenty of one-on-one time with the teacher.
Sewing Level: You should be comfortable cutting fabric and using a sewing machine. You will need to share your proposed project/pattern for this class when you register, so that we can make sure we can help you with it, and that it’s a good fit for the group.
Teacher: This class is taught by our awesome sewing expert Wendy Anscombe.
Materials: Students will need to provide their own pattern, fabric, thread and notions.
Cost: $140
To register for the class, please email Wendy with your name, a contact number and the name of the class you’d like to be in as the subject line.
In line with current government guidelines, a vaccine pass needs to be shown to attend any of our in-person classes.
Location: this class will be held at Made Marion’s new location at 166 Cuba St – between Ghuznee and Vivian Sts, beside Olive Café
